Creating an Office Document
In this article, we will see how to create an Office document in CMap PIM. As part of your CMap PIM configuration, you'll be able to generate pre-templated Office documents within your projects, allowing for a swift and easy set-up.
Navigate to Records
From the project homepage, click on Records in the left hand menu.
Create New
Click the New symbol in the command bar to open the dropdown.
From Template
Click the Office Document option to show all Office Document templates that are available to use for creating documents create.
Choose Template
Click on the down arrow and choose the template you wish to use.
Provide information
Provide the required information in the Create Office Document Panel. The document number for Office documents is constructed using the default values set for that project. To get help changing the default values or to make the fields editable on creation, contact CMap PIM Support.
Create Office Document
Click the Create button at the bottom of the panel to create the Office document. Once successful, the panel will close and you will now see your Office Document in the records list.
Finish
You have now successfully created a Office document in CMap PIM!
