Share Files via CheckPoint
How to quickly share files with CheckPoint.
Navigate to Records
From the project homepage, click on Records in the left-hand menu. This feature is not a default CMap-PIM feature. Please contact our helpdesk to enable this functionality. Please note that this feature is only supported for Checkpoint customers.
Click the Issue dropdown in the command bar, then click Share.
Add your Files
Either click the Browse button on the panel or 'drag and drop' the relevant files onto the Panel. These files will not be added to CMap-PIM like regular Documents or Drawings.
Filenames are not restricted and large files up to 4GB are supported.
Create and Transmit
Once clicked, the panel will upload your files and display progress. Once it's complete you will be navigated to the Informal section of the Transmittals list, where you will see your issue at the top of the list.
The issue will be transmitted in the background and you will see in the Status column the progress of your issue.
For more detailed information about the status of transmittal click on the issue to open up the information panel. If you have made a mistake in your issue, it is recommended you simply make a new one and try again.
View details in the Info panel
Select your new Shared transmittal to open the Info panel.
Here you can view and download the files, and see which recipients have accessed them.
Finish!
You have now successfully shared files informally from CMap-PIM.
