Editing an Issue
Introduction
How to edit an issue in CMap PIM.
Editing an Issue
Issues can be edited up until they are transmitted.
You can edit the existing information, such as the recipients, transmittal methods, and issue status.
You can also add additional revisions to the issue.
Only issues that have not been transmitted can be edited.
Navigate to the Transmittals list
From the project homepage, click Transmittals in the side bar menu.
Edit Issue
To edit a pending issue, click on the issue you want to edit in the Transmittals list and then click Edit Issue in the left hand side of the command bar.
Alternatively, if you click Management in the information panel you can also click Edit Issue there. You can use the Filters panel to find your issues more easily.
Add Recipients
In the Issue Recipients field, type the name of any additional contacts you wish to send the issue to.
You can also remove contacts by clicking the trashcan next to each contact.
Set Transmittal Method
Either individually or using the bulk set field, set the transmittal method which you wish to send
the issue to the recipient.
Changing Revisions
To change the revisions you want included in the issue, click the edit Symbol at the end of each row.
From the drop down, select the revision you wish to select and click the tick to confirm your confirmation.
Renditions
Once you have made your revision selection, click the rendition icons next to each revision to highlight them to include them in the transmittal.
To remove a rendition, click a highlighted rendition to make it appear faded and it will not be included in the issue. You can use the Select All Renditions, Deselect PDFs and Clear Selection buttons to bulk choose renditions.
Update
Depending on whether you want to transmit the issue, click either Update and Transmit or Update Issue.
Once clicked, the panel will close and you will be navigated to the Transmittals list, where you will see your updated issue in the list.
Transmittal Status
Once transmittal has begun, the issue will be transmitted in the background and you will see in the Status column the progress of your issue.
Successful Transmittal
Once the issue has been successfully transmitted you will see a green status bar at the top of the information panel for the issue. For more detailed information about the status of transmittal click on the issue to open up the information panel. If you have made a mistake in your issue, it cannot be deleted. Instead it is recommended you void your issue, and then clone the voided issue using the Clone Issue button and amend the mistake before transmitting.
Finished
You have now successfully create an issue in CMap PIM.
