Adding Contacts to a Project on CMap PIM

Introduction

In this guide, we will look at how to add a contact to a project on CMap PIM. This will allow you to build out a project-specific contacts list.

So, let's dive in!

  1. Head over to the relevant project.
  2. Click on the 'Contacts' tab.
  3. Click on 'Add Contact'.
  4. In the 'Full Name' field, start typing the name of the contact.
  5. If the contact already exists in your Hubsite contacts page, you should see their name under 'Suggested People'. Click on  it to select them and them to the contacts list.
  6. If the contact doesn't exist yet, you can choose the 'Create New Contact' option and create them. The contact will also be automatically added to the Hubsite contacts list.
  7. Once the contact has been added/created,  go ahead and click 'Add' at the bottom of the pop-out panel to add to them the project.

There are two other optional fields in this 'Add Contact' pop-out panel.
Project Role: Allows you to assign a role to the contact.
Key Contact: When 'Key Contact' is ticked, this will mark the contact with a person symbol. This will allow you to quickly identify who main contacts of the project are, such as the Project Manager.
