[400] Error when creating project sites

When creating projects in CMap Mail Admin or CMap PIM, you may encounter the [400] Error. A [400] Error relates to a bad request. There may be a number of reasons why this error appears, so we recommend discussing the scenarios below with the CMap PIM & Mail Support team or your CMap Consultant before you take action.

Scenario 1:

You may be getting this error because you've reached the limit of how many SharePoint sites you can make. 

By default, there is a 250 site creation limit for those who don't have SharePoint Admin or Global Admin permissions.

This error tends to appear more for PIM users. 

There's two possible resolutions:

1. Contact the CMap PIM Support team. They can switch on a setting that removes this limit.
2. Ask your IT to upgrade your permissions to SharePoint Admin.
