Rolling Back a Revision
Before you get started, please be aware that you cannot roll back a revision if it has been transmitted out of CMap PIM as part of an issue.
In some instances, it may be necessary to roll back a revision (if a revision is uploaded into the wrong record container, for example).
CMap PIM will allow you to roll back a revision, however, do note that this can only be done by a Project Owner.
When a revision is rolled back, it will default to the previous revision. NOTE: If you are rolling back the first revision, it will revert to an empty record holder.
Now, let's look at how to roll back a revision:
Navigate to Records
1. Head to the relevant project and click on the 'Records' tab in the left hand menu.
Select a Record
2. Click on the Record you wish you roll back. This will open up the pop-out Records panel.
Management Tab
3. Click on the Management tab to open the options menu.
Delete Latest Revision
4. Click on the 'Delete Latest Revision' button to roll the revision. Rolling back a revision will delete
the revision and its contents.
Finished!
Congratulations, you have now successfully rolled back a revision! You can now upload a rendition into what was the previous version by uploading files with the same document or drawing number.
