Rejecting a Revision

Rejecting a Revision

Depending on your CMap PIM set-up, your revisions may need to go through an approval process before they can be issued out. You can either approve or reject the revision. Only approved revisions can be issued out of the project.

By default, only Project Owners can approve or reject revisions.

If you have reviewed a revision and it needs to be rejected, click on the 'Reject' button (indicated by the thumbs down icon) either in the approval pop-out or from the 'Approval' tab.

Before the revision is rejected, you'll need to include rejection comments. These rejection comments will be sent across to the user who uploaded the revision.

Once you've added your comments, click on 'Reject X Revision'.

Once the revision as been rejected, it will rollback to the previous revision. For example, if you rejected revision 2, it will rollback to revision 1.

The rejection revision won't be deleted - it just won't be visible from the Records area.

If you want to see the rejected revision, click on the Record. In the pop-out panel, go to the 'Revisions' tab and click the 'Include Rejected' slider so that it turns grey. You can see the rejected revisions in the 'Revisions' tab.
