Editing Revision Metadata
Introduction
How to edit a revisions metadata within CMap PIM.
Navigate to Records
From the project homepage, click on Records in the left-hand menu.
Select Record
Hover over the row of the record whose revision you wish to the metadata for and click the grey circle to open up the information panel.
You can use the Filters panel to find your Record more easily.
You can only edit the metadata of the last revision in a record.
Select Metadata
In the top bar of the page select the Metadata tab.
Please note that Revision metadata is different from Record metadata. Examples of revision metadata are metadata not extracted from the Document Number such as include things like Scale, Size and Status.
By selecting multiple revisions, you can edit can bulk edit the metadata.
If multiple revisions are selected, only fields that are the same will appear populated. Don't worry, all fields left blank will go unedited.
Apply
Edit the values you wish to change for the revision and click Apply.
Once successful, you will now see the changes reflected in the record list.
To view more detail open the revision information panel which can be accessed by clicking on the information icon in the revision row located in the information panel of the record under the Revisions tab.
Finished
You have now successfully edited a revision's metadata.
