Creating a Company

Introduction

This Article will show you how to create a contact in CMap PIM

Create Company

When creating a new contact, if you need to create a new company, click the new company button 
located under the company field. All companies must have at least one contact, in order to be shown 
in the companies list. Companies can only be made during the create Contact process.

Provide Information

Fill in the company creation form, providing all the required information. When you are ready to create the company, click Create.

After the company is created, the address information provided will be made into the Company's 
default address.

The Location Name is used to identify different addresses belonging to the same company. E.g. 
If you had a studio in London, it could be called London Branch.

If a company role is set, when copying a contact into a project, the company role will be the suggested value. Companies cannot have the same name. 

The new company and the address created will now be populated in the Create a New Contact form.

You have successfully created a new Company.
