Configuring the AutoCAD Add-In

Configuring the AutoCAD Add-In

Before you start using the AutoCAD Add-In, you'll need to do some configuration to ensure your sheets publish directly to your PIM projects.

Titleblock

Your CAD layouts need to be configured so that the Titleblock Block is named Atvero_Title_Block as per
the downloaded files. The Add-In will not work if you delete or rename the titleblock.

Layout

The supplied template also comes pre-populated with the necessary Page Setup (ATV-A1) associated with each layout. The Add-In requires use of the AutoCAD PDF plotter.

Titleblock Attributes

The attributes in the supplied template will be needed to map to metadata in CMap PIM. Please note that for this section for the configuration, the attributes will need 'Atvero.', not 'CMap.'

The full list of available fields:

•Atvero.Originator

•Atvero.Project

•Atvero.Zone

•Atvero.Level

•Atvero.Type

•Atvero.Role

•Atvero.Number

•Atvero.Revision

•Atvero.Status

•Atvero.Category

•Atvero.RevisionDate

•Atvero.Filename

•Atvero.Title

Revision Block

The supplied template also ships with a Block to use in the Revisions list.

The Block name is Atvero Revisions and it contains 3 attributes:

•Comment

•Date

•Rev

You can re-arrange the Block and attributes to suit your CAD standards. Do not rename the Block or Tags.

Note

When AutoCAD is launched for the first time you might be prompted to load the CMap PIM Add-In. If you are, click the 'Always Load' button.

Finish

Congratulations! You are now ready to Publish to CMap PIM from AutoCAD. If you have any questions or need any further help, contact the CMap PIM Support team.
