Creating a Record Distribution List
Introduction
How to create a distribution list of records for issuing in CMap-PIM.
Record Distribution List
If you have a specific list of Records that you wish to issue over and over again, you can save them into a distribution list.
The distribution list can then be chosen during the issue process, and the most recent revision of each record will be added to the issue.
Navigate to Records
Using the sidebar menu, navigate to the Records page.
Select Records
Select the Records you wish to add to the distribution.
Fill in distribution details
Provide a title for your distribution, and an additional description so other uses can identify the distribution.
When you are ready to save your distribution list, click Create.
To remove a selected record from the distribution, click the trash icon.
Viewing the distribution
By clicking the newly created distribution list you can view the records included and the details about the distribution.
Selecting a distribution
Once created, users can choose from the Add a Record Distribution List dropdown when creating an Issue.
This will add the latest revision for each of the records from the distribution list to the issue.
You can add multiple distributions to an issue.
