How to use CMap QMS - Auditors

As an auditor, you are responsible for checking the information and evidence submitted by task users, making sure it is accurate and compliant. This article shows you how to create an audit, work through the task audits, and save your findings so task and audit statuses sit side by side.

Key points: Go to the Audit tab on the Hubsite or project site, create a new audit against a task set, project and stage, then review each task in the pop-out panel and record your audit notes, status, date and name.

What it does

An audit lets you check the work submitted by task users against a chosen task set, project and stage. For each task you review the submitted information and evidence, then record an audit status alongside your notes. Once saved, the task status and audit status are shown next to each other so you can see, at a glance, what has been submitted and what has been checked.

When to use it

Use this when you need to review and sign off on the tasks completed by task users for a project, confirming that the information and evidence submitted is accurate and compliant.

Create an audit

  1. Go to the Audit tab, either via the Hubsite tab or on the project site.

  2. Select the task set and project you want to audit.

  3. Click the + button to create a new audit.

  4. Pick a name for your audit and choose which stage you want to audit.

Your audit saves automatically once you start completing your task audits. To return to it later, use the Select Audit dropdown to pick up where you left off.

Audit a task

  1. Click on a task to open the pop-out panel.

  2. Review the information and evidence submitted by the task user.

  3. Add your audit notes, a status, a date and your name.

  4. Click Save.

Once saved, the task status and audit status are displayed next to each other.

What to record on each task

FieldWhat to enter
Audit notesYour comments on the information and evidence submitted, including anything that needs to be addressed.
StatusThe audit outcome for the task.
DateThe date you carried out the audit.
NameYour name, recording who completed the audit.

Tip: You don't need to finish an audit in one sitting — it saves as you go, so use the Select Audit dropdown to return and continue at any point.
