Microsoft Security Groups

Introduction

This article will breakdown what the Microsoft Security Groups do when you are installing CMap Mail. Do note: You don't need to add members to the CMap Mail All Users or CMap Mail Confidential Users groups, but you do need to add members to the CMap Mail Admin group.

CMap Mail Admin

If you add members to this Microsoft Security Group, they will become your CMap Mail Admins. This group of people will have access to the CMap Mail Admin Centre and be responsible for setting up projects on CMap Mail, managing user access to projects and unfiling emails. 

CMap Mail All Users 

The CMap Mail All Users group will be added by default whenever a project is created on CMap Mail. This group can be removed via the 'Manage Members' pop out.

CMap Mail Confidential Users

If you add Users as a member to this Microsoft Security Group, they will automatically be assigned confidential filing permissions on CMap Mail. They will also be added by default whenever a project is created on CMap Mail. This group can be removed via the 'Manage Members' pop out. Users within this group will automatically be able to file to projects too, the same as CMap Mail All Users.
