Customising Hubsite Topbar

Introduction

How to customise the hubsite topbar in CMap PIM.

Hubsite Homepage

In the hubsite, click the Settings cog in the top right hand corner.

The TopBar feature is not enabled within CMap PIM by default. Please contact a member of the PIM Team to install this feature.

Settings

From the Settings panel, click Site Contents.

Site Contents

Scroll to the bottom of the list and click TopBarItems.

TopBarItems

In the TopBarItems list, each row is used to represent a TopBar item.

Each TopBar item will have a:

•Title- This is a title used to identify the TopBar item in the list, but is not shown on the TopBar itself.
•ATVDisplayTitle - This is the text that is shown for the TopBar item.
•ATVHintText - This is a longer description of the TopBar item that is displayed when hovering 
the cursor over the item.
•Attachments - This is an .svg file which will display for the TopBar Item.
•ATVTopbarUrl - This is the action link that will be performed when the TopBar item is clicked. If 
the ATVTopbarUrl starts in https:// when clicked will load a webpage.

If the ATVTopbarUrl starting action:// when clicked will perform CMap PIM actions. If the ATVTopbarUrl starts with https:// when clicked it will load a webpage.

If the ATVTopbarUrl starts with action:// when clicked it will perform a CMap PIM action.

Creating a New TopBar item

Click the +New button in the command bar to open the New Item panel. Fill in all the fields and then click save to create a new TopBar item.Current available PIM Actions are :

•action://ShowCreateContactPanel - opens the new Contact panel

•action://ShowCreateDocumentPanel - opens the new Office Document panel
