How to Consolidate or Move Filed Emails Between Mail Projects
There is currently no way to safely merge two Mail projects into a single project.
However, if you need to consolidate two Mail projects (for example, if two project codes were created for what should have been a single project), you can move the filed emails from one project into the project you plan to keep.
How to do it
- Navigate to the Filed Email Contents folder in the project you no longer wish to use.
- Select all Emails you need to move, please note you cannot move folders or anything with the same name as a file that exists within the other project.

Click Move To either at the top of the page or from the three-dot menu.

- Search for the destination project using either the Quick Access or More Places options.

- Select the Filed Email Contents folder in the destination project and click Move.

Once all emails have been moved successfully, retire or disable the old project in CMap Mail. This helps prevent new emails from being filed into the incorrect project by mistake.
