Setting up projects on CMap Mail

The steps for setting up projects on CMap Mail varies on whether or not you are currently using CMap PSA. Therefore, do make sure to navigate to the appropriate section. If you are unsure which process you should use, contact your CMap Account Manager

Project Set Up - CMap Mail Only

This set of instructions are for those who are just using CMap Mail.

  1. Go to the CMap Mail Admin Centre - admin.cmapmail.com.
  2. Click on the 'Create Project' button.
  3. In the 'Create New Project' pop-out, enter a Project Code and Name (please note that each project code must be unique as duplicates are not accepted by the system).
  4. Click on 'Create'.
  5. Once complete, the new project will appear in the CMap Mail Admin Centre.

You'll notice there's also the 'Import members from existing project' field. This allows you to copy the member list from one CMap Mail project to another.

Project Set Up - CMap PSA

This set of instructions are for those who are already using CMap PSA and will be using the CMap Mail integration.

  1. Go to the CMap Mail Admin Centre - admin.cmapmail.com.
  2. Find the project you want to set up from the list.
  3. Select it by clicking in the tick box in the Project Code column. If you want to enable all projects, click on the tick box next to 'Project Code'.
  4. Click on the 'Enable for Filing' button.
  5. Once complete, the project will appear in the CMap Mail Admin Centre. To see the projects that have been enabled, click on the 'Show Enabled Projects' button. When blue, it will show the projects that have been enabled.
