Setting users Hubsite permissions
Your Hubsite is essentially the landing site for CMap PIM projects. It is where the your projects, contacts and templates will be stored and hosted.
In order to access your CMap PIM Hubsite, access and permissions will need to be granted beforehand. There are 3 different types of Hubsite permissions that can be assigned to a user:
- Site Visitor: These users can access and interact with the Hubsite (recommended for most CMap PIM users - rather than adding each user individually, you can use the 'Everyone except external users' Microsoft Group)
- Site Member: Visitor permissions PLUS the ability to edit the Hubsite (make changes to its layout)
- Site Owner: Visitor + Member permissions PLUS the ability to create projects on CMap PIM
How to set Hubsite permissions
- Go to your CMap PIM Hubsite.
- Click 'Site Access' in the right-hand side (you may need to click on the 3 dots).
- Search for the users profile and select them from the dropdown.
- By default, the user will be assigned Site Visitor permissions. Click on the down arrow to change the permission level (Read is Site Visitor, Edit is Site Member and Full Control is Site Owner).
Only Site Owners can adjust a users Hubsite permissions.
