Email Filing Delay While Using File on Send on CMap Mail
Introduction
Use this guide if you have encountered some delays when filing sent emails using the File on Send feature.
You may have seen this message: 'Your email will be filed to [project]'.
What does this mean?
This message is letting you know that your email is in a filing queue and will be filed once the queue has been processed.
Resolution
To resolve this, you'll need to enable the automations feature as this removes the email queuing. To do this:
- Go to Outlook (Online or App) and Open CMap Mail
- Click on the Settings Tab (the clog icon)
- Click on 'Enable Automation' and follow on the instructions on the pop-out
If you don't want to enable the automation, you'll need to file a received email to start the queue processing.
You can only enable the automations for your individual Outlook account. Your IT team cannot do this for you.
